1. Service Description

PingGuard ("Service") is an uptime monitoring and status page platform operated by PingGuard ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 16 years old to use this Service.

3. Acceptable Use

You may only monitor URLs that you own or have authorization to monitor. You may not use the Service to:

  • Perform load testing, DDoS, or denial of service attacks
  • Monitor URLs for the purpose of competitive intelligence without authorization
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Transmit malware or harmful code

4. Free and Pro Plans

The Free plan includes up to 10 monitors with 5-minute check intervals. Paid plans (Pro at $9/month, Business at $29/month, Enterprise at $79/month) include up to 100, 500, and 2,000 monitors respectively, with 30-second checks, webhook alerts, and additional features. We reserve the right to modify plan features with 30 days notice.

5. Billing and Cancellation

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your dashboard. Upon cancellation, you retain Pro features until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months.

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime of the monitoring service itself. PingGuard is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from downtime of the Service or failure to send alerts.

7. Data Retention

Check data is retained for 90 days. When you delete a monitor, all associated check data and incidents are permanently removed. When you delete your account, all your data is permanently removed.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PingGuard shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Modifications

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
